En 1959, mes parents avaient une GILLET HERSTAL BELGICA, type standard.
Malheureusement cette moto a été vendue peu de temps après...
Il y a quelques années en 1990, j'ai trouvé dans un album ces 3 photos. Alors, j'ai eu envie d'avoir une moto identique pour le souvenir ;-))).
Depuis j'ai beaucoup cherché pour avoir des renseignements. En ce temps Internet était moins utilisé et moins renseigné !
Je suis allé à RETRO MOTO WIEZE pour acheter le livre de Mr Yves Campion sur la marque GILLET et j'ai rencontré un membre du Limburgse Oude Motoren Club qui s'appellait Patrick Haesevoets.. Cette personne m'a vendu un lot de pièces pour Belgica et Legia. ( voir quelques photos ci-dessous ). 

Depuis j'ai trouvé d'autres sites d'informations sur cette moto et je suis à nouveau sur mon projet. En mars 2008 à partir de ces pièces détachées, j'essaye de remonter une moto identique à celle de mes parents. On peut en suivre l'évolution dans le dossier "RESTAURATION".

A few years ago, I found 3 pictures in a photo album. So I decided to have  the same bike as a souvenir ;-)))Since then I've been looking for information. At this time Internet was less used and had less information. I went to RETRO MOTO WIEZE in Belgium to buy Mr Yves Campion book on the GILLET trade mark and found a member of Limburgse Oude Motoren Club named Patrick  H.  This person sold me lots of parts for Belgica and Legia. ( see pictures below ).  Since I found sites talking about this type and I restart   to work around my project.  Since march 2008, with these parts, I trie to restore this model to make it identical to my parent's motorcycle.
